What we collect, and what we do with it.

Version 1.0 Last updated 29.07.26 Australian Privacy Principles

This site runs Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console. That means data about your visit leaves this site, so this page exists to say exactly what and why. Written in plain English on purpose.

What we collect 01

When you submit the contact form we receive what you typed: business name, suburb, email, and phone and notes if you added them. Nothing else is attached to it.

When you read any page, Google Analytics 4 records the visit — pages viewed, rough location from your IP address, device and browser, and how you arrived. We see it as counts, not as you.

We do not collect payment details on this site. We do not run advertising pixels, session recording or heatmaps.

Why we hold it 02

Form submissions are used to run your audit and reply to you. Analytics is used to see which pages get read and which do not.

We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to a marketing list. If you ask us for an audit, you get an audit and a reply — not a sequence.

Who else sees it 03

Three third parties are involved, and they are named here because you have a right to know which companies your data touches:

  1. 01Google — Analytics 4 and Search Console. Their servers are outside Australia.
  2. 02Our email provider — carries your enquiry and our reply. Provider to be named here before launch.
  3. 03Our hosting provider — serves these pages and keeps standard access logs. Provider to be named here before launch.

When we run an audit we put questions about your industry and suburb to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity. Those questions are about the market, not about you personally, and we do not send them your form submission.

Cookies and opting out 04

Analytics sets cookies in your browser. You can block them in your browser settings, or install Google’s opt-out extension, and this site will still work exactly the same. Nothing here depends on tracking you.

How long we keep it 05

Enquiries and audit reports are kept while you are a client and for a period afterwards for tax and record-keeping reasons. Analytics data is retained on Google’s default schedule. Both figures are to be confirmed here before launch.

Your rights 06

Email us and ask what we hold about you. We will tell you, correct it if it is wrong, or delete it, and we will do it within 30 days. If you think we have mishandled it you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
