What we do, what you pay, and what you own.
These terms cover the audit, the website build and the monthly retainer. Where a signed contract exists it says the same things in the same order — if the two ever disagree, the signed contract wins.
The audit is free. We put roughly 144 questions to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity and send you a report of what they answered. That is the whole deliverable. You are not obliged to buy anything and we do not require a call.
The website build is hand-coded static HTML and CSS. It includes structured data on every page — a machine-readable summary of who you are and what you do — plus per-page metadata, a sitemap, an llms.txt file, GA4 and Search Console connected, and your Google Business Profile rebuilt. Scope, page count and content responsibilities are set out in your quote before anything starts.
The retainer re-runs the same audit monthly and reports the movement, and includes the content and schema changes described in your quote.
Anything not written in the quote is not in scope. If you want something added we will quote it separately rather than absorb it and resent it.
We cannot guarantee rankings, traffic or leads. AI answers change week to week and nobody controls them.
We have no relationship with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google or Perplexity and we cannot influence their answers. We can make sure there is accurate, readable information for them to find, and we can measure what happens after. Any claim beyond that would be a lie.
Builds are invoiced in two parts: a deposit before work starts and the balance on the day the site goes live. Retainers are invoiced monthly in advance. Prices are quoted in Australian dollars and include GST.
Invoices are due 7 days from the invoice date. If an invoice is more than 14 days overdue we stop work and tell you why, in writing, before we do.
Specific amounts, deposit percentage and any late fee sit in your quote and invoice, not on this page.
You own your domain, your content, your analytics and your code. Cancel with 30 days notice and we hand it all over.
On final payment, the code we wrote for your site is yours outright. The domain and the Google, analytics and hosting accounts are registered in your name from the start, not ours. We keep no admin lock, and there is no hostage hosting.
We may describe the work and show screenshots as an example of what we do, unless you ask us not to. Your photographs and copy stay yours.
Retainers are month to month. Give 30 days notice in writing and it ends. No exit fee, no clawback of discounts, no hostage hosting.
If you cancel a build midway you pay for the work completed to that point and you keep it. If we cannot deliver what was quoted, we refund the deposit.
- Give us accurate information about your business. Structured data that says the wrong thing is worse than none.
- Send photos and copy you have the right to use.
- Review the staging link within the window in your quote, so the timeline holds.
Nothing here removes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Beyond those rights, our liability is limited to the fees you paid us for the work in question. These terms are governed by the law of the state in which we are registered.
